TraumeR - Our Story

TraumeR was founded in 2009 in São Paulo, Brazil . Two years later, in early 2012, the band established its classical line-up, with Guilherme Hirose on Lead Vocals, Fabio Polato on Guitars, Regis Lima on Bass, Nelson Hamada on Keys and Felipe Santos on Drums.

Also in 2012, the band released independently their first EP called Eleazar containing three tracks. 

In the year of 2013, TraumeR started the production of their very first album "The Great Metal Storm", which came out in May 19th, 2014, worldwide, reaching the TOP 20 (#17) on Japanese import charts. This album gets a very special Reissue Version in Europe, with two bonus tracks, released on June, 30th 2017.

In 2016, TraumeR signs the first deal with JVC Victor Entertainment in Japan. In the same year, TraumeR release the second studio album "Avalon", produced  and mixed by Guilherme Hirose at Hirose's Place, in São Paulo, Brazil and Mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland.

Avalon came out in September 7th, 2016 in Japan and reached the TOP 5 (#5) in Disk Union and TOP 15 (#13) at Japanese General Charts at Burrn! Magazine (The biggest Heavy Metal Magazine in Japan).

In Europe, the releasing date was November 11th, 2016 and  in the U.S. the releasing date was February 3rd, 2017.

In 2018, TraumeR comes up once again with a strong Power Metal album titled "History". Produced, recorded and mixed by Guilherme Hirose in São Paulo, Brazil and Mastered by Mika Jussila in Helsinki, Finland at Finnvox Studios.

Japan's releasing date was May, 9th 2018, reaching once again the general charts of this country, by Burrn! Magazine.

Rest of the World releasing date was July 5th, 2019.

In 2023, "Mystery of Flames" an epic, anthemic and very melodic power metal tune with a catchy chorus and technical instrumental passagescame out as a single, after four years without new releases. It celebrates more than a decade of TraumeR.

This single also welcomes Luis Sousa as TraumeR official bassist.

TraumeR is the Power Metal Force, playing concerts since 2012, delivering nothing but the best performance for the fans.
